Energy Medicine has been used for thousands of years . Energy is all around us, and in us.

Our heart starts because of the energy requirement of our body. In Eastern philosophy, words such as Chi, and Prana are sometimes used to refer to energy systems. Energy medicine is the use of energy, and its flow of energy as a part of the healing/wellness medium for healing. Energy is a vital living, moving force that moves along our bodies, and around us. It influences our organs, and other vital components of our body. When there is a disruption of the flow, energy blockages can form, and eventually symptoms of disease can manifest. There are different ways of accessing the energy for healing. Some modalities used are Reiki, Healing Touch, Therapeutic Touch, Polarity, sound healing, light and color. All of these approaches are non invasive, and use some soft hand touch to aspects of the body that correlate to the main chakras, energy centers. Moving the energy flow can alter the body’s bio-energetic fields and flow, ultimately resulting in healing and feelings of wellness.
